I went to H. B. Beal for high school and I think I'm speaking on behalf of all the Beal and CCH kids when I say that London Burger is the reason why we stayed at our schools XD Seriously though, this place is awesome.

The food is delicious and honestly it tastes quite "upper class" for fast food. They serve a ton of stuff including burgers, wraps, fries, poutine, and milkshakes. Some of the high schoolers' favourites include $5 small poutine (after tax), Jr. burger ($4.50) and my personal favourite: gyro ($5.49 before tax). OMG their gyros are so amazing! For those of you who don't know what a gyro is, it is a traditional Greek dish that uses slices of beef and lamb wrapped in a pita with added tzatziki sauce, tomatoes and onions. London Burger makes the best gyros :) you gotta try it.

    Some tips:

    1. If you go during high school lunch hours (Monday to Friday, September to June, 11am-12:30pm ish), be prepared for a half an hour wait. I'm not kidding, I once waited in line for 37 minutes.

    2. They offer 3 types of burgers: London Burger (biggest patty, most expensive), hamburger (smaller patty, cheaper), Junior burger (smallest patty, cheapest). The buns are all the same size and truth be told, (personal opinion), the hamburger and Jr burger taste the same. So to save some money, get the Jr. burger unless you're super hungry, then get the London Burger for $7.

    3. They offer enough seating in the little restaurant but during busy hours, all the seats will be full, so be prepared to take your food on the go.

I graduated from Beal last year and I must admit, I miss London Burger terribly. Every time I go back to visit friends, I always make a trip down memory lane and pay a visit to London Burger and get myself one of those gyros. The service is friendly, the restaurant is family owned, and they offer great breakfast before 10:30am and all-day-breakfast on Saturdays! So give this place a try and TRY THEIR GYROS! :D

Long time overdue in writing this.  Have to admit I haven't been here in many, many months however this unassuming location makes a tasty burger and poutine.  The folks working here are friendly and the atmosphere is chill, with sports on the tv.  If I still ate meat I'd return for a burger...but I'm sure I'll eventually cave to a poutine.  Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Man I wish I still lived in this area! Gosh, the food here is incredible. I came here once when I used to live down the street and was so blown away! Prices were better than I expected and the portions were pretty decent too! Staff are so sweet, and the menu variety is great! Will always, ALWAYS, come back here if I'm in the area, such a good quick and tasty burger place.

This is a very unassuming place. Tucked into the corner of Dundas & Maitland in a stretch of businesses that I've never been to yet pass by often enough to say "I should check that out." Last night, it was my first foray into London Burger and I was very impressed.

The gravy is AMAZING! I ordered gravy on the side, but in a tiny mix up I was upgraded to poutine and I'm glad I was. So yummy! Although, they do use shredded cheese so if you are a stickler, keep that in mind. The fries are cooked perfectly and didn't get sloppy soggy under all that cheese and gravy. Good stuff.

I ordered the 4oz burger with cheese and bacon in a combo. With the "small" poutine it was plenty of food. Their topping choices are pretty varied, with some unusual ones you don't tend to see in a tiny place. My toppings were ketchup, lettuce, tomato, garlic mayo & corn relish. Great toasted-on-the-flat-top bun too. The bacon was a bit too crispy though.

The service is friendly and inviting. Patient as well, which is good when their clientele is often high school students. There is a bit of parking on the east side of the building, which is good to know. They also sell some London Ice Cream Company flavours if you want dessert.

And they have all day breakfasts on Saturdays so I think I need to check that out soon.

I guess I should start by admitting that I have lived within walking distance of the place for over ten years and have never been inside - including within three blocks for over five years. The appearance from the outside does not exactly inspire confidence. Not bad exactly - just a place you almost don't even notice. Well, that changed tonight and boy am I ever glad it did.
It's not a large place, but is clean and somewhat sparsely decorated. Although I should note that they have a charming collection of old pictures of the city before I forget. I had seen some before but it was a lovely addition.
The menu itself is actually quite varied - burgers of course but also hotdogs, gyros, tacos, salads, poutine, onion rings and milkshakes - I could go on. I myself had a burger combo with a side of gravy for about $10 - and I am quite sated. The burger was really good and they had a pretty good selection of topping to choose from. The fries were hand-cut and the gravy was some of the best I have ever had. I am delighted to have such a great burger joint so nearby and a little sad it took me so long to find it.
Don't judge a book by it's cover - the food is great, as are the prices and the staff were super friendly. Really great stuff - an old school burger joint that deserves to be enjoyed by many more - a real hidden gem!
